Wooden Bowl

This is an ordinary wooden bowl; however what it represents is our desire to produce something handmade and relevant to the overall cause of the school. With the goal to provide our students and customers with something separate from the larger factory setting, we've chosen to keep the creation of these bowls among the hands of Kuroshio students, its founders, and their families.

We've chosen the style of a rice bowl as it holds historical significance to the lifestyle of a monk, a lifestyle which we view as an equally respectable contrast to that of the warrior. We feel it is always important to strive to maintain a balance in life and in all things.

This bowl serves as a reminder.
